I've never been, and as we're expecting our second child in December, this may be my last chance for quite a while. Thus, if anyone has any tips for a Dragon*Con n00b -- fair warning, I've been to San Diego Comic-Con, so I'm acquainted with cons at large scales -- I'd be glad to hear them. Moreover, if you're a known acquaintance attending Dragon*Con and are interesting in splitting a ride and/or hotel digs, look me up.Also: BEST WIFE EVER.

ReplyDeleteThank you for writing this. I have been going to Dragon con for 8 years now and every year I try and bring someone new. Its just fun to see them find their Con. However, while reading this i reminded me of something. My first Con. I was like you, on my own, with a group I only know one person of. I now go with a didicated group of 5 people every year with a 6th that changes. I will be adding this journal to a list of links I give to people who say they are thinking of going in hopes it inspires then to take the next step.
